Course Content:

This half day Stress Management workshop course is suitable for all staff.   You will learn the skills to help you recognise stress within the workplace and coping mechanisms to use. This half day includes demonstrations and exercises to practice techniques, as well as an emailed workshop notes containing the main points covered during the workshop.  Contents include:

  • About Stress - definition, facts and figures
  • The physical and emotional effects of Stress
  • Identifying stress triggers
  • Work-related stress & addressing the 6 main risk factors
  • Individual and Group work
  • Assessing personality types
  • Mindful breathing exercises
  • 12 Step de-stress guide
  • Question and answer session

Part of the last hour of the workshop can be tailor made to the companies needs choosing from a range of different exercises including a guided relaxation session. Specific topics which can be covered for example:

 Managing a Team – suitable for Manager’s who are responsible for a team

  • Tips for supporting the well-being of your team
  • Identifying the early warning of distress
  • Recognising when professional /clinical help is needed

1:1 Counselling Sessions for Businesses

We also offer company support after the talk or workshop.  For some companies we offer a retained service for employees who wish to have further 1:1 support.  Companies can arrange to pay us direct for their employees sessions.
