I’m Jacqueline Eyre MHS, MNCS

I have experienced many of life’s up and downs and fought many mental battles. My mum died unexpectedly on Mother’s Day when I was 15 years old.  I travelled across the world solo at the age of 20.  I have been married and divorced and have been a single parent for over 15 years.  I volunteer once a week with the Samaritans and help mentor new volunteers.

I have been a holistic therapist for over 25 years so in order to keep learning new things, I went back to Open University and qualified as a professional Counsellor and Hypnotherapist in 2014.

I specialise in stress, loss and change, through relationships, work or bereavement whether that is sudden or prolonged death, suicide or dementia.

The National Counselling Society is running an initiative called “Mates in Mind” to help support mental health within the Construction Industry and Eyre Therapy is proud to be involved in this.

We run 2 hour corporate wellbeing workshops covering all aspects of Mental Health First Aid and we can tailor make sessions to include working with teams and supporting Menopause in the Workplace.

We all need to talk to someone, and often its easier to talk to someone you don't know. At Eyre Therapy we provide a confidential non-judgemental counselling service, to individuals or to companies who want to support health and well being in the workplace.

Everyone has a childhood that can create self-limiting beliefs that follow us into adulthood - these can be overcome by identifying those speed bumps in our lives and identfying how to 'smooth' out those bumps to create a clearer road ahead.

My Approach

I run a private practice to help and support clients through difficult and stressful times.    I tailor make my counselling sessions to the individuals and their needs using an integrated counselling approach.

I am passionate about helping individuals with mental health issues.  I believe the best way to combat this is to Talk.

Our mission is to end the sigma about mental health speaking to a professional when you are sad or overwhelmed should be as normal as going to the doctors when you have the flu.
