I’m Jacqueline Eyre MHS, MNCS

I'm an Accredited Member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society and qualified integrative clinical Supervisor and can provide supervision to other counsellors via face to face or with online and telephone support.

I have been a holistic therapist for over 25 years and a qualified Hypnotherapist.

I have experienced many of life’s up and downs and fought many mental battles. My mum died unexpectedly on Mother’s Day when I was 15 years old.  I travelled across the world solo at the age of 20.  I have been married and divorced and a single parent..  I volunteer once a week with the Samaritans and help mentor and lead new volunteers. I am a karate instructor who has been studying martial arts for over 40 years.

I specialise in stress, loss and change, through relationships, work, illness or bereavement whether that is sudden or prolonged death, suicide or dementia. I have experience working in oncology with a cancer charity supporting those diagnosed with, carers for and bereaved by cancer.

I support individuals to achieve the best version of themselves by looking at mental, physical and emotional state using the mind and body connection.

I work with groups and individuals.

My Approach

I run a private practice to help and support clients through difficult and stressful times. I tailor my counselling sessions to the needs of the individuals using an integrated counselling approach.

I am passionate about helping individuals with mental health issues.  I believe the best way to combat this is to Talk.

My mission is to end the stigma about mental health speaking to a professional when you are sad or overwhelmed should be as normal as going to the doctors when you have the flu.

We conduct private 1:1 sessions in Wilmslow, Cheshire at Brighter Spaces Therapy Rooms.  You can read more on Your Wellbeing
